Refurbishment of Borehole Systems

Location: Lepelle Northern Water

Project Overview

Etilweni was appointed by Lepelle Northern Water for the refurbishment of 40 borehole systems within Giyani water project in order to deal with acute shortages of water in the area. The Project included the Conditional Assessment, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering and Project Management.

Rehabilitation of Bruntville Internal Roads

Location: Mooi-Mpofana Local Municipality

Project Overview

Etilweni was appointed by Mpofana municipality for Design Engineering and Supervision for the rehabilitation of four (4) roads in Bruntville township under Mpofana Municipality. The work included Ripping and recompacting 150mm layer of the existing top layer, construction and a 100mm layer of G2 material, construction of a 30mm asphalt layer and Rehabilitation of the existing concrete kerbs.

Project Scope

Etilweni connected 427 Streetlight Maintenance and High Mast. This service was conductred under consulting engineering services in respect of planning, design, and installation of public lighting electrical services

Over the past two years Etilweni has completed planning, design and installation of public lighting electrical services of 811 Retrofit Streetlights under EEDSM Programme for 2021/22 Financial Year.

Engineering and Project Management Services for Outages Planning

Project Overview

The project involved the planning, coordination and execution of all planned and unplanned outages for 15 Eskom Power Stations. The project was executed by Boiler Experts, Balance of Plant Experts and Electrical and Instrumentation Experts and the functions involved Planning and Scheduling, FME Management and Compliance, Electrical systems, Civil Engineering services and Balance of plant.

Project Overview

Planning, Design and Construction of 3000 houses including road networks, water and sewer services.
Planning, Design and Construction of 1000 houses including road networks, water and sewer services.

Project Scope

Housing infrastructure provision and upgrading for the Sokesimbone Housing Project. On this project we executed a major rehabilitation of the sewer to preserve and prolong the functional life of the pipeline and supporting bridges. The technical interventions entailed detailed hydraulic study and modelling, security evaluations, environmental study, project specifications, construction procurement, construction and close-out.
